Organisation type

Agatha’s Cat Rescue is a small, private no-kill rescue in Exeter, Tasmania. All cats are vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, wormed and vet checked before adoption. Who is Agatha? She was a beautiful moggy who shared her life with us for 18 years. She too was a rescue cat. The rescue is named in honour of her and all rescue cats who bring joy to people’s lives. Adoptions by appointment (obligation free).

Adoption process

Potential adopters will need to make an appointment to visit the cats (no obligation to adopt). If there is a suitable match, the adopter will need to fill out a form. We ask that adopters keep the cats inside – for their own health and safety, and for the safety of wildlife. We do not adopt out to people who are looking for an outside cat only.
Agatha’s Cat Rescue will provide adopters with the veterinary paperwork – desex certificate, vaccination card and microchip certificate.
