About this organisation

ACT Wildlife Inc conducted 15 training activities during the period covering basic bird training;advanced bird training; basic possum training; bats and flying fox training; reptile training; phone, rescue and transport; as well as database training – giving members the knowledge to rescue ,rehabilitate and release native animals.


The courses are open to members and the general public and are advertised on our website. The courses were attended by 141 people. ACT Wildlife Inc operates a 24 hour telephone and during the period 9337 calls from the public were logged seeking advice. 2933 animals were received into care and 1187 were released into the wild.
